The SolarEdge SEAUTO-TX-5000 Auto Transformer is meant to be paired with a StorEdge inverter for SolarEdge systems including battery storage. The SEAUTO-TX-5000 is required for any StorEdge system with batteries and is designed to regulate AC power for critical loads during a power outage. The StorEdge system is compatible with 350Vdc batteries including the Tesla Powerwall home battery. A single Powerwall battery can be combined with a SolarEdge SE7600A-USS inverter and SEAUTO-TX-5000 auto transformer for a sophisticated battery-based system.
